This year’s free block party is noon-9 p.m. Oct. 4 at Half Acre Beer Co., 2050 W. Balmoral Ave., in Lincoln Square. It’ll have everything that makes a Chicago street fest so great — plus Block Club reporters, editors and staff will be on hand throughout the day.
